Kia ora Visitor, Happy New Year! We hope you have had a relaxing and cheerful Summer Holiday break. And that you are now ready to set up yourself well for the coming year by joining us for some exciting professional development opportunities. This newletter is a reminder to sign up for these events before any registrations close. The first workshop opportunity is already happening in February. We really don't want you to miss out on this rare opportunity to meet and learn with our overseas guests Erin Sheldon and dr. Dr David Niemeijer speaking on Rethinking AAC and AAC practice. We also are very excited about a new and interactive online learning opportunity of the LAMP Words for Life & LAMP therapy approach by Dr Sam Brydon. This training comprises three 2-hour sessions spread across 6 weeks which will also help to embed all the new learnings. As part of this workshop, Sam will be available in between sessions via an online chat platform to ensure participants are well supported to succesfully integrate what they learn into their daily practice. Details on these events and how to register are below or pop over to www.atanz.org.nz/events. Additional professional development opportunities are in the process of being organised for later this year. We'll email with more details as those are confirmed.
